Give your dog targeted, wearable red light therapy with our Red Light Therapy Wrap. Designed to sit directly against the body, it delivers consistent light across the back, spine and surrounding muscles during a calm resting session at home.
With 84 LED chips, two therapeutic wavelengths and a built-in rechargeable battery, this wrap offers a more flexible alternative to a flat pad, especially for dogs with back, spine or muscle discomfort who benefit from direct, consistent light contact.

The wrap sits directly against your dog's body, secured with an adjustable velcro strap, so the 84 LED chips maintain consistent contact across the back and torso throughout the session.

Our story
Mila is an active 8-year-old who loves water, chasing balls and running after squirrels. When she was diagnosed with arthritis in her back legs, red light therapy became part of her daily routine alongside her vet care. The large pad and smaller targeted pad have made a real difference to how she recovers and moves.
But Mila's arthritis is in her legs, not her spine. And as we've spoken to more dog owners, we know that spinal issues, back injuries and muscle discomfort along the spine are incredibly common, particularly in certain breeds.
That's why we added this wrap to the ChillyPup collection.
We wouldn't add anything to ChillyPup that we didn't believe in. This wrap exists because we know how much of a difference the right support can make, and we wanted to offer that to dogs whose needs are different to Mila's.

How it works
Allows light to pass through to the skin beneath, rather than blocking it entirely.
Red light (660nm) is absorbed largely at this outer surface layer.

Where surface-level warmth is typically felt, as light first reaches this layer.
Near-infrared light, 850nm: penetrates further into tissue.

Light reaching this depth sits close to areas of natural blood flow.
Red light therapy can feel like a bit of a mystery from the outside, so we wanted to show you exactly what's happening underneath the fur.
This diagram shows how red and near-infrared light behave once they reach your dog's skin. Red light (660nm) stays closer to the surface, while near-infrared light (850nm) travels further, reaching down into the muscle layer beneath.
It's a completely natural process, simply light interacting with the body. Nothing is injected, ingested, or absorbed chemically, which is why it's such a gentle addition to your dog's routine.

Our three-year-old French Bulldog, Buddy, recently had emergency spinal surgery for IVDD. My son and I accidentally ordered two ChillyPup red light wraps.
